I have dedicated several years to teaching cookery and baking. After obtaining my qualifications in teaching and cookery/sugar craft, I merged my long-standing passion for cooking with a career in community education.
Coral’s Cookery School began in Bournemouth, where I provided food to local hotels. However, after experiencing life-changing events, I relocated to Farnham and established a Cookery School that integrates my culinary skills with my background in community education, aiming to empower individuals to build confidence in their cooking abilities.
My goal now is to witness individuals acquiring new skills and forming friendships while cooking and sharing meals together, by:-
offering customized community cooking sessions that engage families, adults, and children within their local community. These sessions can vary in format, including brief or extended demonstrations, weekly courses, or one-time workshops;
contributing to courses designed for adults, including those recovering from mild to moderate mental health challenges in partnership with the Surrey Adult Learning Passport to Wellbeing (PWB) team;
additionally, I am a tutor with Surrey Adult Learning, where I teach Nutrition as part of their Family Learning Programme.
and I also freelance as a Cookery Demonstrator/Tutor using my cookery skills and experience to provide simple and informative demonstrations in either intimate settings or at large venues.
