I have been involved in teaching cookery and baking for several years now. After completing my teaching and cookery/sugar craft qualifications, I combined a long-term love of cooking with a career in community education.
Coral’s Cookery School started in Bournemouth, supplying food to hotels in and around the town, however following life changing events I moved to Farnham and decided to combine my cookery skills and my experience of working in community education into a Cookery School to help people develop confidence in cooking.
Now, seeing people develop newfound skills, make new friends whilst cooking and eating together is my objective: -
I offer tailor-madecommunity cookingsessions, engaging families, adults and/or children within their own communities. Sessions can be either a brief or long demonstration, weekly-course, or one-off day workshop.
I provide various children’s’ cookery workshops for charities, schools and/or community centres, such as RHS Wisley Gardens, Farnham Maltings and ‘Space2Grow’ - a local community project in the heart of Farnham creating space to talk and connect.
In association with Surrey Adult Learning Passport to Wellbeing (PWB) team, I am part of the unit providing courses for adults with, as well as those recovering from, mild to moderate mental wellbeing difficulties.
I am a tutor with Surrey Adult Learning, teaching Nutrition within their Family Learning Programme
